
Hunt Country Music Festival
The first-ever Hunt Country Music Festival will take place at venues throughout Middleburg and Upperville, Virginia on May 20-22, 2022.
The Festival offers three days of exciting musical performances in Virginia's scenic hunt country, only 30 minutes from Dulles International Airport and just one hour from Washington, D.C.
Attendees will enjoy an eclectic mix of music, ranging from Argentinian tango, classical piano, saxophone, chamber and orchestra performances to lively swing dance music performed by a big band ensemble.
Festival attendees will also enjoy free live street entertainment, a free walking tour of Middleburg, Virginia's historic sites, as well as delicious food and wine and warm hospitality available through Middleburg's local restaurants, wineries and unique specialty boutique shops.
Featured performers will include:
* Quintango, a quintet of top-notch female chamber musicians wand an outstanding bandoneon performing classical Argentinian tango music;
* Musicians from the Loudoun Symphony Orchestra, performing concertos for harp, trumpet and organ;
* Four hand piano and vocalists presenting love songs by Johannes Brahms in a traditional afternoon setting of tea and scones;
* The Washington Saxophone Quartet, featuring Rich Kleinfeldt, the voice of WETA radio;
* The Illinois Arts Duo performing works for violin and piano;
* Matt Trimboli and Swing Shift big band;
* Free bagpipe, fife & drum, and strolling fiddle performances.
The festival is produced by the MIddleburg Concert Series, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that has produced musical concerts in Middleburg since 2014.
